Academic shoot reflection

1. alot of the students around the pictures were really loud and obnoxious while trying to take pictures

2. holding the camera and making sure the picture wasnt blurry was a big thing on my mind

3.i would try to make my pictures more clear

4.i would make sure i keep using different angles until i find the right one

5. lines would be easy to take pictures of

balance academics

this photo is balance because it is somewhat symetrical and even

Mural

1. i have no idea, ive been here for four weeks

2. dont know yet

3. its mobile yet low quality and wierd size

4. the pictures are high quality and jpeg, they are the good size, there is less angle to an slr.

5. i think we should use slr, the pros outmatch the cons by alot

great black and white 3

i like this picture becuase of the tranquility and silence in it, there is no society and there is nothingness, the rule of this picture is rule of thirds because the ostrich egg is in the bottom right

a.Pentax 67
b.Nick Brandt loves animals
c.being close to the animals reveals your personality
d. "out before dawn, back after dusk, no breaks"

rule of thirds

this picture is rule of thirds, the students are in the bottom right so the window is in the shot this is coach randolphs biology class

i followed this rule
the subject of the photo is the students
i think the subject is somewhat clear

Step 7

1. Where do you think you could take photos like the ones you look at today?

probably in some of the science rooms and maybe outside in the courtyard

2. Whose classroom would you like to visit and take photos in?

mr.ashlock, coach randolph if he has biology, other teachers with interesting classes

3. What will you do, as the photographer, to get amazing photos like you look at today?

move around to find the right angle or light. ill use the rules of photography to get better pictures
i picked this photo because it is clear and shows academics at its finest, total concentration of the student. The rule is lines, the marker lines lead to his face, the photo also has simplicity because of the background.

Most Interesting thing or best action

i picked this picture because it has the most interesting stuff, learning about dry ice can be really fun frozen carbon dioxide is very interesting. rule of thirds is used with the desks in the top left

Best Emotion

i picked this picture because it has the best emotion, it makes you feel happy to see homeless people being fed probably for the first time in a while. framing is used in this picture the front two people create a frame

Better Story

i picked this picture because it captures a moment shared between numerous people around a flagpole, they could be honoring someone that died or just a special day. lines on the sidewalk bring your eyes to the pole in the middle

framing

this photo tells a story by showing the awe of the students as the smoke covers their hands and table
